Is there any difference between a weird fact and any other kind of fact?
What is the definition of a “weird fact”? According to the Online Dictionary it is a fact “of a strikingly odd or unusual character; strange.”
The problem with that definition is that the fact may only seem strange if you don’t know it already.
And, what are you to do with this knowledge? Well, knowing some weird facts may be useful if, for example, you need to impress someone – like a potential employer, or even possible future parents-in-law!
Having weird facts at your fingertips is also handy when conversation is flagging. Being able to introduce the fact that the Mona Lisa has no eyebrows will guarantee some comment. When someone asks “why not?” you quickly reply “because it was the fashion in Renaissance Florence to shave them off!”
You can quickly follow that up with the information that the king of hearts is the only king without a mustache on a standard playing card!
By this time, your friends will be clamoring for more, so our Life Daily team has put together a short list of wildly assorted facts that you can memorize. The first two facts we already showed you – so here are the other 19!
It only takes a few moments to browse the list. It may take just a little longer to commit it to memory:
