The array of possibilities is so vast that it is bewildering, and our Life Daily team had their work cut out to condense our selection to just 12 suggestions.
We had to consider in which circumstances a person would feel the need to browse the internet for fun things to do.
It is said that many people who are glued to their computers for hours on end, simply need to relax and clear their minds. Indeed, some companies now recognise that fact, and allot a specific amount of “fun time,” in the belief that, if they don’t, the time will be taken anyway – and without restriction.
But, there are many other circumstances in which access to instant fun could be a great way to relieve boredom. Waiting for a plane, bus or train, for example. Or, indeed, any other period of enforced waiting. And, of course, there’s always the journey itself.
