What is Love, and how do you know you’re in it? A pure dictionary definition of love is: ‘A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.’
A rather more cynical explanation might be: ‘nature’s way of tricking people into reproducing.’ But, however you define it, everyone agrees with the saying of the Roman poet, Virgil, ‘Love Conquers All!’
Of course, there are traditional signs of being in love, which tend to be somewhat melodramatic; these include heart palpitations, loss of sleep, and loss of appetite.
But we know – in the words of Lemony Snicket – ‘Love can change a person the way a parent can change a baby — awkwardly, and often with a great deal of mess’.
So, how can you tell that the emotions you are feeling are, actually, true love and not simply lust or infatuation?
To help you figure this out, the Life Daily team has compiled the following list of the top 15 ways to know you’re really in love
1. You’ve forgotten your ex
2. You can’t stop thinking about him/her
3. You care about him/her
