They say: “The only bad question is a question unasked”…
As a former teacher myself I used to say this to my students all the time and I still feel passionately that it’s true. We all have questions about things we don’t know and you should never be afraid to ask something if it’s on your mind. People find it hard to ask questions for a whole variety of reasons, most often because they don’t want to admit that they don’t know the answer.
So what is the best question ever asked?
Well that depends on who you ask but today we are strictly dealing with questions not answers. Of course theres no such thing as the best question ever asked but here’s a list compiled from a number of online sources like makefive.com, a site well worth checking out.
1: “Are we really alive?”
Questions don’t come more philosophical than this one. Of course there are many different answers to this depending on who you ask. Not all questions though need an answer sometimes they are just great food for thought. We are definitely alive in the literal sense but this is a question asked on many levels.
Some of us are alive while the rest of us are just existing, and the rest of the living is just here.
2: “What happens after we die?”
Does anyone really know what happens, if there is life after death? Well, some people claim to know while others are more skeptical. Either way this question is one that is answered by priests and scientists alike so one can but draw their own conclusions. 3: “Who shot JFK?”
Stepping aside from the heavy philosophical questions for a moment this questions has been asked by many. Shrouded in conspiracy theories from the sublime to the ridiculous, the answer to this question is a complex one. Even though JFK was assassinated 50 years ago the internet is alive with lively debate on the event. It makes for some good reading but like I said before, draw your own conclusions.
Perhaps there was only one assassin, but he did not act alone…..Dallas was the ideal location for such a crime
4: “What is the meaning of life?”
Does anyone really know the answer to this? I think not but it certainly is one to think about. Some days we think there is no meaning at all and the world is just random, on other days though we get inspired and conclude that there is meaning to life. Either way you can find some great theories and beliefs on the web of different opinions on this question.
The meaning of life is to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. It’s about traveling down different paths of your life and making decisions
5: “Who was the best President of all time?”
Once again a very subjective question depending on your political standpoint and age. Be it Abe Lincoln, JFK, Ronald Regan or one of the other 40 US Presidents everyone has their favorite. A topic of daily conversation and of course lively debate you need to know how to stand your corner when it comes to this popular question.
